America
is in serious danger and yet is asleep at the wheel. Americans
are not
reading the news and interweaving that information with what God has to
say is
about to happen in the last days. Serious and recent events have
already
taken place. You know them, 911, Oklahoma
City,
hurricanes like Katrina, Andrew, Ivan and Charlie, the California
earthquake of 94. Outside our borders is Iraq
and perhaps soon coming Iran
war. We had the USS Cole bombing; the 1998 U.S. Embassy bombings
in Africa
and the Beirut Marine barrack bombings. Border security allows
gangs like
MS-13 and Islamic terrorists into our midst’s. Our country is
already
bankrupt, and the creditors will come soon but we just don't think
so.
Our youth are brainwashed by the anti-God crowd. Schools promote
the
false religion of Darwinism, teach anti-family. Families are no
longer
based on solid marriages. Broken homes promote drugs and violence
among
out children.
Many forces are working against America,
forces like our own government represented by divisiveness in the
legislative
branches, the house and senate over issues like the war, immigration,
social
security, taxes, gay marriage. The judicial branches argue over
personal and
religious rights, free speech, discrimination, gun rights, gay rights,
abortion, global warming, school issues and more. The G8, the UN,
the
Nation partners work against us while the ACLU, Amnesty International,
PUSH,
NOW, NAACP, NEA and various groups flame discord.
This nation was founded on the rights of freedom, especially the
freedom to
practice religion. A nation that values right over wrong,
good over
evil allowing Judeo-Christian values, allowing the practice of worship
to God
and Him into our lives. But there now seems such a strong push to
get God
out of our live, to be free of God. People proudly wear the label
of
Atheism, gayness and other such anti-family values are tolerated.
The
list is so long but these things are why our protective hedge by God is
nearly dissolved.
Time is short. And unless we can repent like the people of Nineveh
we will soon see our end. Make no mistake God is in
control. He
controls the weather, He knew about Katrina and Andrew. If you
say how
could He, remember, He controlled the flood of the Bible at which time
there may
have been by some estimates a minimum of 3 billion and perhaps as many
as 9
billion or more people on the earth. God controlled the fire and
brimstone which rained upon Sodom.
God even controls the rain as when he shut off the rain for the prayers
of Elijah.
It is written that that not a single sparrow “falls to the ground apart
from
your Father's will.” So when we see destruction know that God
that this
is His will.
For a while this country had received unprecedented blessings, riches,
freedoms
unlike any country ever. While other third world countries
suffered and
struggled we enjoyed and still enjoy jobs, health, vacations, luxuries,
cars,
boats, planes, fine clothes, perfumes and every manner of activity one
can
think of for our leisure. All the while we enjoyed an
unprecedented level
of protection from our enemies both through the distance of our shores
and
might and pride of our military. But all the while we have
increased in
sin and disobedience to God. It seems that on a daily basis as
our
newspapers show evil and sin from every direction on the rise that a
proportionate amount of catastrophes are occurring. The
protection that
God had afforded our country is eroding. We have told God to get
out and
so He has. God says, “let Me tell you what I will do to My
vineyard: I
will take away its hedge, and it shall be burned; And break down its
wall, and
it shall be trampled down”.
The next wave of disasters whether from the force of nature or our
enemies will
continue to cripple and wear away America
until we are no more. This is a matter of fact. God has
already
preordained it for His people Israel
which includes the United States.
Sadly most will not heed the call to repent, but will instead go the
way of
their own thoughts and die in their sins. This is the time of
"Jacobs’s
trouble", it is a time to wake up and a time to repent.
